By comparison, all forms of cancer combined are responsible for roughly 591,000 deaths annually. About one in four Americans will receive a diagnosis of some form of heart disease during his or her lifetime. It’s important to understand that heart disease not only poses a serious threat to a person’s heart health, but can also have a profound impact on overall well-being. During this interactive program, we will discuss multiple factors that can contribute to various heart conditions and what you can do to help prevent or better manage heart disease. The presenter is Robin Gren, a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator. She has served as a health educator and healthy living coach for the past twenty-five years.
