REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Join us for a 6 part series to learn about six different mammals indigenous to Northeast Florida both in and out of the virtual classroom. For this series, you must have internet access to attend three classes via Zoom, and must provide your own transportation to attend at least two of the three in-person field trips to local area parks. This program is free and is open to adults ages 18+.

Zoom classes: Wednesdays August 19th, 26th, and September 2nd from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. (total 7.5 hours)
Field trips: August 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th. Times to be announced. (total 14 hours).

You will learn to expand your human senses and develop research techniques to explore and connect with the natural world beyond the field guides and nature shows.  Be prepared to research, write, draw, envision, and track an animal of your choice, in your own way. This program is offered as a result of a collaboration between the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation and the St. Johns County Public Library System. Some supplies will be provided by the Friends of the Main Library St. Augustine.
