REGISTRATION IS FULL.  Join us for a 6 part series to learn about six different plants indigenous to Northeast Florida both in and out of the virtual classroom. For this series, you must have internet access to attend three classes via Zoom, and must provide your own transportation to attend at least two of the three in-person field trips to local area parks. This program is free and is open to adults ages 18+.

Zoom classes: Wednesdays September 16th, September 23rd, and September 30th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. (total 7.5 hours)
Field trips: The mornings of September 19th, September 26th, and September 27th. Times and locations to be announced. (total 14 hours).

You will learn to expand your human senses and develop research techniques to explore and connect with the natural world beyond the field guides and nature shows.  Be prepared to research, write, draw, and research plants of your choice, in your own way. This program is offered as a result of a collaboration between the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation and the St. Johns County Public Library System.
