Letter from the Library Director:

Leap Into Reading @ Your Library

With the days getting longer and the temperatures warming, we leap into March with a renewed sense of excitement! Life seems livelier when the weather is warm. Spring is the perfect season to tackle those DIY projects around the house and yard, catch up on ACT/SAT studying and practice testing, prepare your tax returns, and pick out books for poolside reading during Spring break!

You’ll find plenty of fresh ideas in our new online catalog! Browse our collection for the latest books, e-books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines. Plenty of new books for every occasion and age are available through your local library and our website. You can also launch a new project, learn a hobby, or take a class with the latest and most accurate information in our databases.

Your library also offers an assortment of tax forms, available in print and downloadable from the IRS. Free AARP tax preparation assistance is available at several of our locations. Tax assistance is by appointment only. Visit our website for more details on this service.

To further enhance your reading enjoyment, the libraries offer monthly book discussion groups, providing an opportunity to share opinions, likes, and dislikes and meet new friends. You can check our monthly Calendar of Events for a complete listing of all library programming. There’s something for everyone happening at your library!

With six branches, a roving bookmobile, an updated and interactive website, and a Books-by-Mail program, it’s easy to access library services and resources! Spring into your local library and check us out!
