SJCPLS now offers digital access to The New York Times

As an added benefit from your public library, SJCPLS now offers 24 hour complimentary, unlimited access to the digital edition of The New York Times. The library’s new subscription provides access to NYTimes.com from any computer or device, as well as access to the NYT app on portable devices. You’ll get immediate access to articles and blog posts, as well as video, slide shows and other multimedia features.

There is also archive access from 1851-1922 and 1981-present only.

You must create a New York Times account for access. You will be prompted to sign up using Facebook, Google, or with an email address and password. If you already have a New York Times account, click ‘Log in’ to enter your email and password.
